Evolution can add new skills, adding more complexity your build.
You can upgrade or evolve weapons, with some weapons requiring an upgraded before you evolve them.
Each one you pick up gives you 1-2 attributes, health or stamina, and unlocks the nodes around it. The attributes are in a node-tree system. When you level, you get skill points you can put into attributes or crafting recipes. The combat feels pretty fluid.Īs you explore, you can get more skills, which can allow you to get to areas you haven’t been before, or allow you to deal with enemies differently. It takes a bit of effort to grind for the ore to craft weapons but the game gives them out plentifully besides the areas where you can farm them easy. You will need to watch out for a weight limit for equipped weapons but it isn’t terribly difficult.
Currently the series of weapons to choose from are one handed swords, two handed long swords, heavy swords like claymores, gauntlets which rain skills or bullets as support and bows. You can implement elements and debuffs into the weapons upon crafting them which make fights easier if you find the appropriate enemy weaknesses. You can learn skills from each new unique weapon which makes the play style differ upon skills you like to use more. Skill points can also be obtained through monuments found throughout your exploration of the map. You level up with the anima of defeated enemies which give you skill points to increase your stats through a book popup menu. The leveling is done through praying at a statue which doubles as your save point. There are special areas called mazes scattered throughout the map as you travel and quests that you can take on to extend game play. That being that at first you will have to fight strategically to not die, but as you level up you can go back to map areas where you had trouble and plow through them showing off your skill and level increase. The combat can be difficult occasionally if you are not leveled up properly, otherwise it has a pretty decent difficulty on single player. However the combat is smooth and the story has some interesting hints from the bosses but is not very present right now. You can only fight two bosses and five to ten minibosses Fun skill system that allows you to equip skills to any weapon of the same type after mastering it (using a skill x number of times). Good weapon variety (one-handed swords, longswords, bows, wands), each with their own crafting lines and unique skills. The next two points are related to this one. Robust character progression, with many build options ranging from basic stats to skills to weapons. No MP bar, skills work on a cooldown system.

There are no initial loadouts or attribute allocations to be found here. You may select one of various male and female settings, as well as their voices. Before you enter a witch’s house and choose your avatar, the tutorial begins and teaches you the fundamental mechanics. Your character begins as a black silhouette in Lost Epic. You could find anything if you look in the nooks that tickle your senses. Not only that but there are hidden items around Sanctum that will undoubtedly aid you in your quest. A proper preparation might rescue you if you find some adversaries tough to deal with at times. Defeating the Elites can result in significant prizes. Certain quests require you to fight against Elite adversaries. Lost Epic gameplayĬompleting objectives assigned by the various characters advances the sub-story and earns the player prizes. Search the corners that tickle your senses and you may find something. That is not all, throughout Sanctum, there are hidden items that will surely help you in your venture. Craft items to better your exploration! When you start to say to yourself, Where are my medicines To many debuffs, try acquiring materials through cultivating or fishing and craft items! If you find some enemies difficult at times, a good preparation could save you. Defeating the Elites can give you powerful rewards. Certain quests require you to fight against enemies known as the Elite. Complete quests and earn rewards Completing quests given from the many characters will progress the sub-story, and earn rewards for the player. Focusing on specific stats and creating a strength, skill or magic build will also be effective in advancing your quest.
